Lite Products was founded in Chicago, IL in 1921.
Du Bois Fabrics was founded in Chicago, IL in 1935.
Ohio Valley Upholstery Supply was founded in Owensboro, KY in 1952.

Du Bois Fabrics, Lite Products, and TUSCO were purchased and merged in 2008 by Andrew & Julie Kahn, a fourth-generation couple in the textile industry.
Andrew & Julie, along with their daughter moved to Chicago, IL from Cincinnati, OH to head up the operations.
Ohio Valley Upholstery Supply was purchased in December, 2009 to give DLT a Southern presence.
