We carry a few different types of welt cord - They all serve the same purpose but differ in construction and are meant for different end uses.
Fiber Firm - Made of twisted tissue wrapped with a threaded net. It is also most suited for indoor or furniture use.
Ours is medium-firm, most common in the industry.
Foam - Made of a foam polyethylene. Strong and Uniform. Unaffected by moisture. Ideal for boats and other outdoor uses.
Plastic - Extruded polypropylene plastic is strong, uniform and does not stretch. Closely duplicates original auto types. Not affected by moisture.
